Scott J. Olmsted is the Group Head for the Technology Group within Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading a team which advises emerging growth to public companies in the technology industry across multiple segments of their business including capital raising, advisory and day to day operations. His experience includes private and public companies as well as portfolio companies of venture capital and private equity firms. Scott has successfully managed multiple teams at the Bank for over 20 years to deliver customized solutions to clients to meet their ever changing needs.
Before joining Bank of America, Scott worked at The Walt Disney Company in the Imagineering Group. He was responsible for the financial aspects of the construction of multiple sections of the California Adventure theme park in Anaheim.
He received a MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Biopsychology from the University of California Santa Barbara.
Scott is the former Chair of the Board for the Los Angeles Region American Red Cross and now serves as its Chair of the Board Governance & Nominating Committee. He is also on the Board of Trustees for the Ronald McDonald House of Pasadena serving as the Treasurer for the House and is an Advisory Board member for the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission.
