Calvin Selth

Program Lead

Calvin Selth (he/him/his) is an experienced partnership builder and advocate for diversity, equity, and justice. Beginning his career as a bilingual K-8 educator, he leverages past experience in talent recruitment, non-profit development, and event marketing to gather people from diverse backgrounds around shared goals. In his role at the Annenberg Foundation, Calvin leads operations and program management for PledgeLA, a collective of 220+ tech companies and VC firms hosted in partnership with LA Mayor Garcetti.

He graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University, where he studied History, Spanish, and Latin American Studies. As a Mellon-Mays Fellow, Calvin completed original research at the Archivo de Indias in Seville, Spain on race and social inequity in the 16th century. Outside of work, he’s an adventurous cook, dog dad, and proud foodie.
