Dr. Jessica Nouhavandi is co-founder and lead pharmacist of Honeybee Health – an accredited online pharmacy focused on improving access to affordable generic prescription medications in the US. Dr. Jessica began her pharmacy career at an independent pharmacy in Moorpark, CA, and saw first-hand the systemic inequalities and financial burdens passed along to patients, which inspired her to start Honeybee Health. As a fierce advocate of reproductive rights, she has championed equal access to medication abortion and the integral role of pharmacy in this essential healthcare service. In 2020, Honeybee Health became the first pharmacy to ship medication abortion pills commercially on behalf of providers. Honeybee Health operates in 48 US states and territories.
